The Setup:

ReadyNAS NVX running 4.2.5 kernel with 2x 500GB drives mirrored. One iSCSI LUN of size 439GB presented to host running Windows 2008 x64 and Microsoft Initiator version 2.08.  Host and ReadyNAS direct connected on 1Gb interface running IPv4 protocol.

The Results:

IOPS data reflect 512B transfer size, throughput data reflect 1MB transfer size.

The Graphs:

There are three sets of graphs:  the first set of three graphs show throughput performance as a function of transfer size incremented in steps from 512B to 4MB; the second set of three graphs shows IOPS performance as a function of transfer size; the third set of graphs show latency performance as a function of transfer size.

Two Intel 10G NICs direct connected between two hosts.  Default NIC settings running on IPv4, jumbo frames enabled.  Host running Windows 2008 x64 SP2, Chimney enabled (but not used by Intel for offloading), IOAT disabled, Intel driver (version 15.0).
